Playtime

We try our very hardest to tucker this puppy out at night not so much so he'll sleep (he's taken to his crate really well and no matter what time of day you put him in there he's generally asleep in 2-3 minutes) but because we want to provide an outlet for all of his high puppy energy so it doesn't channel itself in other ways like being naughty. Our breeder kept telling us that raising a lab puppy takes a lot of work and I had no context so I had absolutely no idea what that meant. Now I do. You should see us in our backyard between the hours of 6 and 8pm because we must look like we're training for the circus or something. Thankfully, Jackson doesn't seem to think we're too crazy and enjoys our playtime. Inside can get tricky too because you have to divert his attention when he's biting. Luckily, our breeder also told us the best toys for pups are the cheapest such as plastic liter water bottles and cardboard boxes. Last night we tested the cardboard box theory and sure enough... he loved it.

Enjoy :)
