Dinner for 2, sil vous plait

Now, I know what you're thinking... "my, my what a cute little resaurant Mike and Sarah found to celebrate Valentine's day." But guess what... it's not a resaurant, it's our own home... and we made the dinner ourselves! Thank you, thank you, you're too kind

Earlier this week Mike suggested that instead of going out this year for V-day, we find a recipe to make at home with all of our fancy cooking supplies from our wedding. We found a recipe for Tomato-Basil Gnocchi... so we decided to go for it.
Chef Pentek reading carefully and making crucial executive decisions...

... sauteeing vegetables... yes vegetables

...mixing the potatoes with flour, egg, and butter...

... working in it... by the way his sous chef (that;'s me) is workin it in our mini food processor with the sauce...

... and success!!! They were so good, but so filling! We couldn't finish our bowls.
