Quittin' Time
Mike is in the home stretch of soccer season and his dad made the trek out to Iowa to watch one of his final games (how cool is it that Coach Pentek had his own cheering section made up of one person... his own Coach Pentek). After the game we headed to a patio nearby for some, quittin' time cuisine... code for a Friday night burger and a strong cocktail =).
Although I frequently daydream about our future and cannot wait for it to unfold, I am really loving this time with our families. We've officially moved from the,
hey I'm semi-independent living on my own in a college town but secretly love when you visit because I actually ingest every food group and get to take my bi-annual trip to Target phase,
into the
working, paying our own bills, and generally figuring out how this grown up thing really works phase.
Family means more to us now than ever because they've seen us through it all and we've now actually begun to realize everything they've done for us.
Maybe growing up isn't so bad... =).
