Follow up

Shortly after I wrote the last post, Mike returned from a round of golf with Ojash. 

Me: Hi, would you like to hear the post I just wrote on the blog? It's about you...

Mike: Sure

I read the post out loud while he looks at the pictures with a smile on his face

Me: Don't you find it odd that I was able to locate all these pictures of you pretending to eat my face or otherwise?

Mike: chuckle, well the conclusion you came to is absolutely right, why would I ever want to take the spotlight away from you?

Me: eye-roll

At this point he heads to the bedroom to shower and returns about 15 minutes later.

Mike: You know, the real reason I do that in our pictures together is because I don't want all the pictures of us to be really great. I mean, we're going to be taking pictures together for 40,50,60 more years... if all of our pictures are great now, then what do we have to look forward to?

Me: ............eh?

Mike: leans in to kiss me, you can put what I just said on the blog, with a huge smile on his face!

Where in the world does he come up with this sh.. My husband is so sweet =).

and to his credit, we do have a lot of great pictures together

 *Truth be told... my stomach did a little flip when he mentioned being together for 60 years =)
