Weekend Update
If this past weekend had a theme it would be... organize the heck out of everything you see. And that we did.
Mike and I have said for a while that we're beginning to run out of space in our home. This is crazy to me, and probably you too, for several reasons; 1) there are only two of us and we really haven't accumulated many new items that don't have a place in our home and 2) we can't even begin to imagine what the next few years will bring us in terms of "more stuff" (aka, having a baby and/or getting a dog). This realization led me to one conclusion: we weren't being very smart in how we were using our space.
I ended up tackling the basement storage space, our crawl space under the stairs, and our "could be a walk-in" guest bedroom closet. By the end of the day I was super tired both physically and mentally because organizing on a large scale like this takes vision! It felt great though and I spent parts of the evening last night admiring my work.
Organizing + a little happy hour, a yummy dinner with friends, lots of laughter with several rounds of catch phrase, and completing the first book in the Hunger Games series = a wonderful weekend indeed.
It looks like we have a light snowfall in the forecast this week so it finally feels like winter (although I think by Saturday we're supposed to be back up in the high 40's or low 50's, crazy!!) Happy Monday everyone!
