Giving Thanks
I read this little challenge on my friend Jenna's blog and have also seen some Facebook friends posting things they are thankful for each day this week and I got to thinking... what a great idea. Therefore, each day this month I will post something I am thankful for in an attempt to get past the "off the top of my head" items to hopefully reveal some things I truly take for granted. I'm also going to challenge myself to be specific as opposed to generic because the generic ones are boring and will leave me with approximately 18 days without anything to share with you, god forbid.
Do me a solid readers... play along either on your own blog, Facebook, or by leaving a comment.
I'm already behind so here's a weeks worth...
- I'm thankful for my health... I feel strong and capable to do what is asked of me each day
- I'm thankful for our home... when we're home for the weekend, I rarely go anywhere because I love everything about our home
- I'm thankful for my engagement ring and wedding band... (some of these things will be material but I think I'll explain myself well) because every time I look at it I feel love, different levels each day, but love all the same
- I'm thankful for the common interest for reading my husband and I share
- I'm thankful for the wonderful teachers I was able to spend my first years of teaching with, their impact will resonate with me forever
so far so good... I think I'll like this challenge! What are you thankful for?
