They turned on me...

First off... still pregnant. This isn't one of those fake out posts where I start with my normal blog ramblings and then surprise! hit you with pictures of our sweet little one at the end. Just wanted to get that out there.

Second, I've discovered yet another super fun thing about going forever past your due date... (apparently, the longer I'm in this state, the more dramatic I get about the sheer length of this journey).

The websites who have been there for me since the beginning... the ones who so sweetly emailed me weekly to tell me how things are changing for me and for baby... turned on me last week...

Of course I opened each of these emails only to sputter aloud, "oh really, that's how it's going to be huh?! You're now going to mock me and highlight the fact that I no longer fit the description of an "average pregnancy". Ugghhhh."

I suppose the thought of sending a mass email update to those of us still pregnant would have to go something like this: "Congratulations, you're still pregnant. And huge. And uncomfortable. And almost everyone else due around you have already had their babies... some have even been home for a week or longer," in which case I can see why they don't do it... talk about depressing, not to mention a liability because they'd surely be sued for damages after a laptop or two breaks from being thrown angrily against a wall.

11 days past due. Oh the joy. :)
