Pause and Give Thanks

I know it's hard to believe but it's November again folks. As in, a whole year has gone by since my 2nd annual Month of Giving Thanks. Is it me, or do the years just keep going by faster and faster?

Anyways, 'tis the season yet again to devote time on the blog to express thanks to all things, big and small. I've spent time brainstorming for this project and came to the delightful realization I could probably do this all year. I really am quite blessed.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present to you the 3rd Annual Month of Giving Thanks, and please feel free to play along too:

#1- Our jobs- not so much what we do but really just the simple fact that we both have jobs. We work hard and live within our means. We might not always get to do what we'd love to do we do however lead a pretty charmed life all because we are both able and willing to work.

#2- Netflix and Redbox- these two work synonymously in my mind because Redbox offers new movies and Netflix offers a variety of movies and tv shows (some of which you'd never know about) for your viewing pleasure. What it boils down to, however, is both offer entertainment on the cheap for staycations or low key nights at home.

#3- Coffee- what a wonderful way to start each day. I may be addicted but I don't care; doesn't everyone need a great way to start their day?

#4- Ikea- I actually can't believe this hasn't made one of my previous lists! I'm thankful for home furnishings sold at reasonable prices but also for the fact that literally anytime I think of something I'd like for our home, Ikea has it and most of the time it's exactly what I'm looking for. How can it get any better than that?

#5- Holiday music- I finally got around to switching out my warm weather clothes for my cold weather clothes this weekend and decided it'd be a good idea to play Christmas music while I did it. Not only was I in a mood comparable to Buddy the Elf but I finished in record time; perhaps I was one of Santa's Elves in a past life?

What are you thankful for?
