An Encore
I'd like to bring November, and my time to proclaim thankfulness, to a close with... all the small things... here goes:
I'm thankful for the kisses I get every morning when Mike leaves for work
I'm thankful for the introduction of Pinterest in my life because, truth be told, I find an hour on Pinterest much more inspiring than Facebook (Facebook is losing it's touch with me...)
I'm thankful for IKEA for offering fine home furnishings at affordable prices (just wait until I show you our new curtains...)
I'm thankful to live in our neighborhood because it's unlike anyplace I've ever lived
I'm thankful for home improvement stores for showing me a side of myself I've never known... the side that squeals with inner excitement over new door hardware ;)
I'm thankful for FaceTime on iPhones because without it, we wouldn't have been able to give our best bud Ojash a virtual tour of our new home
I'm thankful for Glee for the way they sing and dance and push boundaries, to name a few
(Speaking of Glee) I'm thankful for the invention of auxilary cables because I so prefer creating my own playlist over listening the radio
I'm thankful that somehow my work calendar and my personal calendar merge somewhere in the cyberworld because it allows me to appear on time and presentable even though I'm a scatter brain, especially in the morning
I'm thankful for my programmable coffee maker which also contributes to the presentable-ness mentioned above
I'm thankful for the fact that some of my best days haven't happened yet
I'm still thankful for my sweatpants... and always will be
I'm thankful for the ability to write this blog and for so many other blog writers who keep me interested, informed, and inspired
I'm thankful for the holiday season upon us and am looking forward to the start of a new year...
and last but not least, I'm so very thankful for you, dear reader.
