College Flashback

Today marks the last day of sorority recruitment at Iowa State. Ahhhhh, the memories! I dug up some pictures of this blessed week as I meandered down memory lane.

Most of my pledge class on the famous staircase during our senior year. This staircase was the single most important piece of furniture in our entire house (besides our air conditioning units) during recruitment week. I can recall countless trips up and down the staircase at rapid speed because we only had x amount of minutes between groups and singing, yes singing... it's so cliche but it is seriously some of my most cherished memories of Greek life!

The beautiful ladies of Chi Omega before pref night.

The best part of recruitment however, is the day after bid day (when all the new girls join their houses officially) because the fraternity men travel around to each of the houses to serenade the new members. Later that same evening is the first night "out" for the girls so the boys usually host some great gatherings. Good times had by all =)
