TGI...M
Thank goodness it's... March! Each year, when February crrraaaawwwlllsss by i have to call attention to the fact that in the world of schools and teaching, February is the longest shortest month of the year. Is this the same in other working worlds? I'd guess yes because in so many ways, February just... stinks.
But March... now March is something we can get excited about isn't it? So please join me in welcoming March with open, and relieved, arms. Hello. Welcome. We love you.
The first thing to look forward to in March is always spring break and this is typically quickly followed by St. Patrick's Day. This year, however, my St. Patrick's Day will be significantly dryer than in years past. I'm actually okay with it though because there are a lot of baby-related things we need to take care of around here and spring break will provide a perfect time to do so.
When I say baby related things I mean the typical- registering, preparing the nursery, etc. but also various home projects that come from the realization that another person will be living in your house with you and you (seemingly) have absolutely no room for said person because your house is a cluttered mess. We've already worked diligently to organize and pitch where we can and are finally in the stages of setting everything up for baby's arrival. I'll be back in a while with our plans for the nursery. Again, we're not planning to find out what we're having but I'm really excited about our plans for the space.
Happy March 1st everyone!!
