Time to Unpause
Oh my goodness... that extended break (I think the longest in Mike and Sarah blogosphere history) was completely unplanned!! My sincerest apologies.
I have exciting news to share though, we are officially and completely moved into our new house! We spent the first two weeks living in the dark ages with no internet or tv which obviously accounts for some of the absence. Then, once we were finally reconnected to the internets, my computer decided to no longer recognize wireless connections so freakin annoying. I'd like to pause a moment and thank Qwest for their outstanding customer service department specifically the two ladies who spent a total of 3 hours with me during which time we collectively determined... there was nothing they could do. boo
Luckily, Mike's school laptop has rescued us and brought us up to speed with the world. phew
Unfortunately though, this means I can't share any picture with you of our kitchen progress! The cabinets are completely installed and the floor is finished. We also have our oven and microwave up and running. We're eagerly awaiting the arrival of our countertops and fridge which will finally allow us to install the sink and dishwasher. Thankfully, the end is in sight and just in the knick of time too because next week is the dreaded... back to school week for both Mike and I.
