It's just not my thing

Save me. I know I haven't been around for a while but it's for good reason. Remember a while back when I explained how my colorfully organized Google calendar took a turn for the worst? It's happening now, I'm seeing brown. My to-do list is insane. Good news though, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It'll all be over in 4 days. I have moments where I see this as a good thing and there are moments in which I begin to hyperventilate but, no worries, you've caught me in a good moment. deep breaths, deep breaths

Okay, moving on. Today was Super Bowl Sunday bringing me to the title of this post, it's just not my thing.

Case in point, here's an honest run down of the only part of the Super Bowl I watched today...

Sometime around 7:00pm...
Hmmm... I think I need a break. I suppose I'll turn on the game to see what's happening.

Oh look at that, its commercial time. Hmm, B level local Iowa business commercials, I'm so tired of these, I thought the SuperBowl was the time to watch good commercials?

Oh look the game is back on. Wow, both teams have similar looking helmets.

Hey, they're not wearing any cold weather gear. Remember conversation from lunch yesterday about a storm going through Texas making it difficult for people to get to the game. Oh yeah, they're playing indoors.

Wow, the commentators are really fired up about something.

Oh look Green Bay is ahead.

Hmm, a segment entitled "Sounds of the Game"... oh, eww... all it is grunting and yelling... awesome, these men get paid more than I'll see in a lifetime and they create a special feature in which they grunt and yell.

Oh, it's the end of the 2nd quarter, thank goodness, I can't wait to watch Black Eyed Peas.

Here they are, yesss! Oh wow, they look great. It's so amazing how fast they have to set up and how fast all those back up dancers have to run to their places.

Woah, Fergie singing Guns'n'Roses, that's pretty bad-ass.

Wow, Usher!!! OOoooooooh, look at the dancing.

I could totally do that dance... look at them, I can totally do that, cut to me doing my best version of the Usher break dancing... good to know I have a back up career if this teaching thing doesn't work out

Wait, now they have dancers with blocks on their heads... okay, yes... I can totally and surely do this. And it'd totally be worth my time, they probably made $30 doing this today.

I wonder if it's hot wearing lights on your clothes? I wonder if you can buy lights to sew into your clothes? I wonder if you could sew lights into your clothes and then run around town? interesting

Hey, how on earth did Fergie get a hold of my sparkling bra and futuristic fairy costume? Wow, good thing they didn't have make any adjustments, size wise. tehehehehehe

Awww, it's over. Oh man, this means I have to go back to my work.

Oh, football is back on, okay I'll go back to work.

Yes, I actually did do a dance in the living room. I do this frequently actually, it always makes me laugh and, let's face it, if you can't laugh at yourself you're clearly not that much fun.

It is on this note, my favorite readers, that I shall leave you for today. Posting this week will be light but I've got big things planned for my return. Until then, just know I'm thinking of you... and love you lots. =)

PS- Cut to me standing like Napoleon Dynamite talking through a clenched jaw... congratulationspackerfans.
