Bliss

Rewind to one week and one day ago...

This was the day in which Miss Leah became a Mrs. and it was, in a word, blissful. We reported to Leah's promptly at 7:15am to start the day. We spent our morning at an awesome salon in St.Paul where we had a ton of space to just chill before the big day events began. It's a good thing our first room was large because once we got to the church, our space resembled a sardine can. We didn't mind though, it was cozy and comfy =). Leah was stunning and it was so fun to spend the entire day with her and all my closest friends, definitely made me realize how lucky I am and how much I miss these ladies.

The ceremony was rough, I nonchalantly cried a lot. Once when Leah said the word wife out loud which I wasn't expecting at all! It snuck up on me and I found myself choking on my emotions thinking... she's a wife, and she's all grown up... and we're not girls anymore. Then, I cried when I looked into the sea of guests and saw Mike sitting between my parents and Erin's parents. It was like everything that ever mattered to me from my life in Minnesota was in one room and it proved to be a little too much for me. Luckily, I had Erin right next to me so I was able to pull myself together.

Once they said their I do's, it was game on. They had the coolest party bus and we had about 2 1/2 hours before we had to report to the reception hall. So.much.fun. By the end of the night, I had spent time with friends I hadn't seen in forever, talked with anyone and everyone, enjoyed the photo booth a little too much, had plenty of wine, and burnt off my entire dinner on the dance floor. Success. Here are some pictures from the day... enjoy.

We took some pictures at Rice Park in St. Paul. Notice our sweaters and leg warmers, compliments of the bride herself.

The wedding party.

The trio.

And last but not least, the happy couple.

What a fantastic day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. G, I couldn't be happier for you two.
